Experience God’s Presence

We want to experience God’s presence in our church services through praise and worship, through prayer and God’s Word.  We want to have an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can work.

Worship & Praise

Our church service begins with praise and worship.  Our songs are purposely focused on Jesus.  Each person has the freedom to thank and praise Jesus as they desire.  Some will raise their hands in worship to God or clap their hands.  There is also the opportunity to pray, or to share what God has done in your life in order to encourage others.

Preaching

After the time of worship, we have a message preached from God’s word, the Bible.  It will be a message that encourages, lifts up Jesus, explains the Bible passage, and helps you to practically live and apply God’s word to your life.

Quiet Time & Prayer

After the message, there is a time of prayer.  We offer to pray for personal needs or healing.

Duration

The entire service lasts about 1,5 hours.

Coffee & Tea

Afterward, we have coffee, tea and time to visit together.

Who We Are

We Believe In

God

Everything starts with God. He is the creator and sustainer of heaven and earth. As the eternal father of life, he seeks a heart relationship with the people he created out of love and with an eternal destiny. He doesn’t want anyone to get lost. Therefore, he provided for the redemption of people through the vicarious death of his only son, Jesus Christ on the cross.

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was born human as a virgin and died on the cross on behalf of our guilt and sin to reconcile us with God. We believe in his physical resurrection, in His ascension and that he now sits on the right hand of God, will return and will reign forever.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit that God has sent to us as the helper, comforter and adviser. He wants to fill our lives and change our character according to God’s standards. He enables us and gives us gifts to serve God, to have fellowship with him, and to build His kingdom on this world. We believe in the baptism with the Holy Spirit as stated in Acts 2.

The Bible

We believe that every person is born a sinner and therefore needs salvation. God is a holy God who cannot tolerate sin.  But because he loves us so much, he created a way so that we are not lost forever.  Everyone who confesses his guilt to God and accepts Jesus as Lord and Redeemer receives forgiveness, liberation, and eternal life.  John 3:16

A New Beginning

Wir glauben, dass jeder Mensch als Sünder geboren wird und daher Errettung braucht. Gott ist ein heiliger Gott, der Sünde nicht dulden kann. Weil er uns aber so sehr liebt, schuf er einen Weg, damit wir nicht ewig verloren gehen. Jeder, der seine Schuld vor Gott bekennt und Jesu als Herrn und Erlöser annimmt, empfängt Vergebung, Befreiung und ewiges Leben. – Johannesevangelium 3,16

The Baptism

We are convinced that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord should be baptized.  In doing so, he symbolically testifies that his old life was ‘buried’ and that he received new life.

The Church of Jesus Christ

We believe that everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and confesses it publicly belongs to the worldwide church of Jesus. At the same time, however, every believer should also belong to a local church that is his spiritual home. There his faith is consolidated and built up.

The Last Supper

We believe in the importance of the Lord’s Supper, as a celebration and memorial, as a proclamation of salvation in Jesus Christ, and as an expression of the community of believers.

God's Judgement

We believe in eternal damnation for all who have not resolved the question of their guilt with God, who live their lives without God and who refuse to love him.

The Ressurection

We believe in a wonderful eternal life after death, for all who have included Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in their lives and remain faithful to him until the end.

Vision

Love God. Love People. Magnify Jesus Christ.

We want people to find a new beginning in life through Jesus Christ and His love and forgiveness. Jesus says in His word that He can “make all things new”.  We want to be a Holy Spirit-filled, Christ-centered church.  The Bible is the basis for everything. We are a multicultural church and want to develop a “Christian Culture”.  Our services are in German and English. We want people to experience the presence of Jesus, and find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus wants to forgive, transform, deliver, heal, and reveal His love to us.  Our vision is to lead people from all nations to be followers of Christ and to glorify Him through our lives.

History & Pastor

New Beginnings International Church

had our first service in October 2019.  We began having weekly services in December 2019.

Pastor Sharon Reeves

came to Germany in 1989 sent as a pastor from the Assemblies of God USA. She is also a pastor with BFP (Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden) in Germany.

She helped establish

Christliches Zentrum St Wendel and pastored there four years. God gave Sharon a burden for former East Germany and she helped start Christliches Zentrum Rostock and pastored there over twelve years.

In 2009 she began open air evangelism

with the network of On the Red Box. She and her team have preached at Alexanderplatz since she came to Berlin in 2013.

Over twenty years ago,

God put a call and vision in her heart to one day come to Berlin to start a church.  New Beginnings International Church is the fulfillment of this.
